Joe & Mac Caveman Ninja GENESIS

Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja started as Data East's 1991 arcade game before being ported to home consoles. Two prehistoric heroes, Joe and Mac, set out to rescue the women of their tribe after a rival band of Neanderthals kidnaps them.

It plays as a colorful run-and-gun platformer. You throw stone axes, bones, boomerangs and fire at dinosaurs and cavemen, and each stage ends with a huge prehistoric boss. A second player can join at any time as the other caveman, which makes it a great co-op game.
