Stunt Race FX SNES
About Stunt Race FX
Stunt Race FX is a 1994 racing game for the Super NES, developed by Nintendo EAD with Argonaut Software, the team behind Star Fox. Like Star Fox, it uses the Super FX chip inside the cartridge to draw fully 3D polygon cars and tracks.
Its cartoonish cars have big eyes and bounce and squash as they race. Besides standard races, there's a stunt trial mode full of ramps and jumps, plus a two-player split-screen battle mode. It's a fascinating look at how far Nintendo pushed 3D graphics on 16-bit hardware.
