Batman: Return of the Joker GENESIS

Batman: Return of the Joker is Sunsoft's 1991 action game, first released on the NES and later remade for the Sega Genesis. The Joker has escaped again, and Batman must track him across Gotham City.

Batman doesn't use his fists much in this game. Instead he shoots projectiles with an arm cannon that can be upgraded with different ammo types. Levels include factories, rooftops and a section where Batman flies with a jetpack. Its big sprites and Sunsoft's catchy music made it one of the better Batman games of the era.
