Desert Strike GENESIS

Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf is Electronic Arts' 1992 helicopter shooter for the Sega Genesis. A dictator named General Kilbaba threatens war, and you pilot an Apache helicopter on a series of missions to stop him.

Seen from an isometric view, each campaign gives you objectives such as destroying radar sites, rescuing hostages and capturing enemy officers. You have to manage your fuel, armor and ammunition carefully, picking up supplies along the way. Its open-ended mission design made it a big hit, followed by Jungle Strike.
