Chakan: The Forever Man GENESIS
About Chakan: The Forever Man
Chakan: The Forever Man is a 1992 action platformer for the Sega Genesis, developed by Extended Play Productions and based on Robert A. Kraus's comic. A swordsman who boasted that he could beat Death is cursed with eternal life and must destroy supernatural evil before he can rest.
Chakan fights with two swords and can collect weapons like a hammer, scythe and grappling hook. He explores four elemental worlds, each with its own monsters and boss. You can mix potions for different effects, such as healing or temporary powers. The game is dark, difficult and very different from most Genesis platformers.
