About Equinox
Equinox is a 1993 isometric action-adventure for the Super NES, developed by Software Creations and published by Sony Imagesoft. A sequel to the NES game Solstice, it follows Glendaal as he sets out to free his father, the wizard Shadax, from the evil sorceress Sonia.
You travel across an overworld drawn in Mode 7, then go down into eight large dungeons filled with traps, enemies and tricky platforming puzzles. Each dungeon has tokens to collect and a boss to defeat. It's known for being very hard and for its atmospheric soundtrack by Tim Follin.
