FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 is EA Sports' 1997 soccer game, released on many systems including the Super NES. Its main mode lets you take a national team through qualifying for the 1998 World Cup in France.
Besides World Cup qualifiers, you can play friendlies and club league seasons with licensed teams. The 16-bit versions offer fast, simple controls for passing, shooting and tackling. It's one of the last FIFA games made for 16-bit consoles and a nostalgic pick for fans of '90s football.
