Adventures of Lolo 2 NES

Adventures of Lolo 2 is HAL Laboratory’s 1990 puzzle game for the NES, released in Japan in January and North America that March. It continues the Eggerland series (Japan’s seventh entry, the West’s second) with Lolo once again navigating grid-based rooms, pushing enemies and blocks to collect heart framers and reach each room’s exit.

It expands the original’s puzzle-logic formula with new enemy types and room mechanics while keeping the core rule that combat is entirely about positioning and manipulation rather than direct confrontation. Its move-precise, no-time-pressure puzzle design became a defining influence on later block-and-enemy-manipulation puzzle games on the platform.
