Adventures of Lolo 3 NES

Adventures of Lolo 3 is HAL Laboratory’s puzzle game for the NES, released in Japan in December 1990 and North America in September 1991 as the third and final Lolo game to reach the US (numbered differently in Japan, where the original Adventures of Lolo never released, making this Japan’s ninth Eggerland entry).

It carries forward the series’ room-by-room puzzle structure — using enemies’ fixed movement patterns against them, positioning blocks, and collecting hearts to open a room’s exit — while introducing new puzzle elements and a larger overall stage count than its predecessors. As the last Lolo game released stateside, it represents the series’ most refined version of its signature no-combat, pure-logic puzzle formula on the NES.
