Super Mario Bros. 3 NES

Super Mario Bros. 3 is Nintendo's 1988 platformer for the NES, released in North America in 1990. Bowser's children, the Koopalings, have stolen the magic wands of the Mushroom World's kings, and Mario and Luigi set out across eight themed worlds to get them back.

It introduced a world map with branching paths, mini-games and airships, along with famous power-ups like the Super Leaf, which lets Mario fly, and the Frog and Tanooki suits. Designed to look like a stage play, it's packed with secrets such as warp whistles, and it's often named one of the greatest games ever made.
