About ClayFighter
ClayFighter is a 1993 fighting game developed by Visual Concepts and published by Interplay. It parodies the Street Fighter II boom with a cast of claymation characters, including the Blob, Bad Mr. Frosty, Ickybod Clay and the Elvis-like Blue Suede Goo.
Its characters were made from real clay models, photographed and digitized into sprites, which gives the game a unique look. The moves and quotes are full of slapstick humor, but it still has special moves and combos like a serious fighter. Tournament Edition later added new stages and modes.
