Super Baseball 2020 is a futuristic baseball game originally released by SNK for the Neo Geo in Japan in 1991, with this SNES version ported by Monolith and published in North America by Tradewest in 1993. Set in the year 2020, it swaps real MLB rosters for a mix of human players in powered armor and full robot teammates, all competing in a single venue, Cyber Egg Stadium.

Armored players get boosted throwing and fielding ability from their suits’ computer assistance, while robot players hit and field with mechanical precision but lack the human players’ stamina management, giving team-building a science-fiction twist absent from every other baseball game of the era. Its odd premise and Neo Geo pedigree made it a memorably strange entry in the SNES sports library rather than a straightforward simulation.
