Strider GENESIS

Strider is Capcom's 1989 arcade action game, brought to the Sega Genesis by Sega in 1990. You play as Strider Hiryu, a futuristic ninja who infiltrates a dystopian Russia to assassinate the tyrant Grandmaster Meio.

Hiryu slashes enemies with his plasma sword, the Cypher, and can climb walls and hang from ceilings. Robot helpers called Options can join him in battle. The Genesis version was praised as remarkably close to the arcade and was one of the first 8-megabit cartridges on the console.
